Larry Sinclair vs Barack Obama update

This is a photo of Larry Sinclair taken in 1999. Sinclair put this photo of himself on youtube to show what he looked like when he alledgedly had hanky panky with Barack Obama.

The lie detector test, which was supposed to shed light on if Sinclair’s claims were true or not, has become a mess. The website whitehouse.com that arranged the test has not provided the full results they promised, instead giving various excuses, which has led to all sorts of speculation.

The test indicated “deception” but Larry Sinclair says he was set up. Sinclair thinks whitehouse.com is in cahoots with the Obama campaign to discredit him, and he stands by his story. Maybe this isn’t over quite yet.

Meanwhile, here is a preview of the next scandal: Are Barack Obama and John McCain having an affair?

Larry Sinclair failed the test

Liar?

Larry Sinclair’s lie detector test “indicated deception”, says the polygraph expert who questioned him about Sinclair’s alleged romp in a limo with Barack Obama.

An audible sigh of disappointment was heard among fans of juicy sex scandals. Is this the end of Sinclair’s gay kiss-and-tell story? Another expert will examine the results independently tomorrow and then they will release a video of the whole procedure.

Desperate boyband

Come jump in the hay

This is the British boyband Billiam. The Guardian wrote this about them:

New boy band Billiam are being sold on a near-the-knuckle naked shot. It’s in their press pack, on their MySpace front page, and in their first photoshoot for the gay magazine, AXM. It’s quite a convincing pastiche of gay porn, right down to the bizarro location, distracting hair-don’ts and the “I hope nobody I know sees this” second-thoughts looks.

For a boy band to get their bits out before they’ve even had a hit marks a new low (or maybe high?) in pop marketing. It’s like being taken on a dinner date, and someone whopping their tackle on the table before you’ve even finished your starter. It also smacks of desperation. As if the image exists to divert attention from how unlistenable their music is. (Which, incidentally, it is.)

Silom Farang says: Sex sells. You want to be famous? Show us the goodies.
