I scanned these magazine pages from Real Men before I left Bangkok for my current visa escape. The scenery reminds me of the Malaysian pronounciation of “beach”. I sit talking to some Malaysians and suddenly they say “do you want to go to the bitch?”. What bitch? I don’t know them that well but they are bitching already.

Boyfriend’s return

Chalerm is back. Quietly and without saying anything he has moved back into The Mansion now that I am in Malaysia.

I also think he is working in the office again. He goes early to bed and he only does that when he has to. But I haven’t asked as I don’t want to push the issue. No need to rub it in.

So I won, did I? I don’t want to see this disagreement in terms of winners and losers. It is a win-win situation. Chalerm came to his senses. He is back on track to a career in the tourist industry. He has abandoned this outrageous idea that he could live off my money and do nothing.

What if I got hit by a bus and Chalerm had to support himself? What if he was too lazy to have any work experience, and too lazy perhaps to finish his degree?

It is un-Thai to worry about the future. But Chalerm used to have some drive and energy, enough to get by. It just temporarily left him.

Deals on wheels

Kancil

Malaysia. I was walking on the street minding my own business when a young man in this late 20ies rolled down the window of the parked car he was sitting in. He was short and round and his face was round too.
- Hello where you go? asked the boy.
- To my hotel, I said.
- Need a friend?
- No thanks.

The boy sat in a Malaysian doghouse-on-wheels kind of car called the Kancil. I have never been inside one. I don’t think I could fit. The engine is only 0,66 litres so it would not go anywhere if I was in it.

I walked on. The doghouse came around the corner and stopped by my side. The boy inside sucked his finger and gave me a suggestive look.
- Need a friend? asked the boy.
- No, I said.
I kept walking.
The boy put his little car in reverse and came after me on the street. His window was still open and I said:
- You can stop now.
- Need a friend? asked the boy.
But then he did stop. As he drove away I noticed a home made sign he had put in the rear window. It said “For Sale”.

Bill Kaulitz gay denial

I am not gay

Singer Bill Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel has appeared on German television to state that he is NOT gay. The gay rumours had reached such a level that the singer went public to say that to be gay would be a waste with all those pretty girls he sees in the front row of his concerts.

In this blog over a hundred teenage girls have left comments in support of Bill Kaulitz’ heterosexuality. If sexual orientation is decided by referendum they have won.
