I was up until 4am, reading a novel I had brought from Farangland. Five days on I am still jet lagged. I sleep late in the morning but can’t sleep at bedtime.
I was tired after the popping around I did back home. It was too much travel. The last couple of trips to visit relatives I could have done without, preferring to relax on my back in a park while watching the sky instead, but I could not cancel without causing disappointment and upheaval.
I am working on a better home for my Asian boy pictures. I have a number of them to repost here. Most are of Japanese boyband stars. I am looking into making thumbnails and putting more pictures on each page.
Chalerm is busy at school. I look forward to the day he gets his BBA in tourism. A job as a guide or something similar should suit him well. He likes to talk to an audience and to (ahem) boss people around a bit.
Speaking of audience, I have heard no more of his media apperances. Did he have his 15 minutes of fame already? He liked being on television. I would dread it. Imagine sitting in a studio with those bright lights and hearing ones own voice with a huge camera up your face. People who can do that and look natural are talented.
Granny is here. She had a new haircut and I took this as a sign that she had been outside. That would be a small miracle, as she stays indoors from she arrives and until she goes back to the village. But Chalerm had cut her hair. He wants to cut mine too but I refuse.
The Queen of Si Saket visited us. He is 19 and I swear he has grown a little in height the last couple of months. Yesterday he was watching Korean soap operas on video with Chalerm, but also looking through our magazines with shirtless pop stars.
