@SameSame Yes, you can do it this way, but it misses the point, because Little does not give you that cozy feeling like the -tje- suffix shell do. The difference between Nachtegaal and Nachtegaaltje is like one between cat and kitty.

Yes it does, with the small exception, that the Nachtegaaltjes is a diminutive form. But I never heard someone to diminish a nightingale in English - may be everyone thinks, that it’s small enough.
