Chalerm works afternoon and evening now. I only see him when he comes home some time after 9 pm. He is tired when he comes home and wants to relax by playing on his computer.
Yesterday I took him on my back for a trip around the apartment. We do that sometimes. I always complain he is heavy.
I don’t know what happened to the urgent need for Chalerm to go to the military in Lopburi to get copies of his papers. Since he overslept he has not made any new attempt at going there. Up to him.
Farang D mentioned in passing that the website I have made for his business is “far superior” to his competitors websites. I like to hear that. He also said he would send his messenger boy over with another payment today. I like to hear that too.
Now Farang D speaks about installing real time reservation sooner than we had planned. But my friend Mac in Farangland doesn’t want to do it and I am not sure if I called to do this kind of thing. I have no idea about how to make a server-based web database and reservation system. On the other hand, that’s a challenge isn’t it? I read somewhere that learning something new is good for the brain.
It is getting hot in Bangkok. 32 C is a lot more than 29 C, which we used to have in the daytime. Soon it will be 34 C. I am grateful to Willis Carrier, the inventor of air conditioning. His name is on the equipment that makes it possible for me to live in Bangkok in the hot season.
People wonder how I can take pictures of semi-nude Thai boys while resisting the temptation to jump them. It isn’t as hard as it sounds. When I do photography I am singlemindedly occupied by the light, the angles, the exposure, the composition. Only later, when I see the pictures I took, do I have time to think about what a juicy piece I had in front of me.
