The article was just a load of stereotypical bosh reinforcing the popular view of (Thai) ladyboys and Toms. In fact the gay guy looked so much like a girl that I thought the BKK Post got the captions wrong.

ähm another short comment to the discussion above: sf please go on with the novel. it was so nice to read these storys while driving to work in train. i know that it is really hard to find time and the mood to write storys like that. but it is something you do well. the short stoys flashed me cause they were able to let me jump in the movie. so what revard do you want? isnt it revard enough that lots of people including a german 24 are sooooo happy to read new storys of bangkok and visa runs and crazy sweedish people?! best greetz

YES Silom, it hard to write a novel.
But we do miss it…

I enjoy hearing about “life” there. In BKK or KUL or Kota Kinablu. It is the adventure!!!

Do not get into the Ladyboys at the Net Cafe and the latest glamor gossip. OOPS, think that must be the OTHER blog…

No, Silom Farang,….although Dale can speak for himself, I think what he clearly said is that this ‘blog’ focuses on a rather narrow slice of the gay pie. Your site has changed focus considerably since I first began reading. Reading about Chalerm, seeing your outstanding photography, and reading the novel were the ‘hooks’ for me back then. I still hang-in there with you, somewhat, but am less and less interested these days. As Dale said, “not attacking….we’re just all into different things.”
