33. The street kid 2
In England Duff told his friends that he never paid for sex while he was in Thailand. This was Duff’s principle but when in need Duff would rather have sex than principles. He had three days left of his holiday in Thailand. It would be a year till he could come back. That year Duff had to spend in Manchester while earning a living and dreaming about his next trip to Thailand.
Duff had never taken a boy off the street before. But he was in a daredevil mood, frustrated about his lack of progress with the so-called good boys. Duff had read warnings about picking up guys on the street in Bangkok but this fellow looked harmless. The boy went back to his friends, presumably to tell them he was going with Duff, and Duff stopped a taxi that was driving past. Always a man of manners, Duff held the car door open for the street kid.
Duff and the boy were in the back seat of the taxi. Duff told the driver to go to the Malaysia. Duff hoped that the boy and he might use the short trip to cuddle a bit, or do some strategic touching, or perhaps hold hands. But the boy did nothing and Duff thought he should not be too pushy. The boy just sat there, stiff and serious, and he didn’t invite any fun and games. He remained silent.
I don’t even know his name, thought Duff. I don’t know his age either. All I know is that he looks old enough and cute enough and that he has agreed to sleep with me. I am getting dirty, picking up a boy on the street in the middle of the night. It must be my end-of-holiday despair. I am getting laid and nothing shall stop me.
At the Malaysia hotel Larson and Lek were standing at the reception when Duff and his street date came in. Lek handed over his ID card unasked. Larson winked to Duff when seeing his young companion. Then Larson and Lek took the lift, waving goodnight.
Duff’s date didn’t have any ID card. When the receptionist asked the boy he only shook his head slightly and went back to his passive, silent mode. Now what, thought Duff. No card, no go room? The receptionist pulled out a drawer and found a small camera. He took the boy’s picture. Wow, thought Duff, this hotel has a solution for everything.
