Shy boy (1)

Shy boy (2)
This one looks Japanese. There I said it again! And the photos have that air of film days. The good old days.

You are cheating
I saw a foreigner go bananas over a taxi in Soi Langsuan. This was around 6 pm, the rush hour when it can be hard to find a taxi.

Nice, but can you take the shirt off?

Thank you
This is Elie Thibaut de Lartigue. With an aristocratic-sounding name and good looks he should be popular in Milan, where he is a model.

Too cute to be gay
Teenage girls write me to protest about Aaron Yan. This pretty Taiwan pop star is NOT gay, they say. I agree. Aaron is not gay and that is why he belongs in Officially Not Gay. Take the photo above, for example. This level of soft sweetness is impossible to achieve for gay boys. And no gay boy would ever dress in such an outfit anyway.

The back of DJ Station with fire escape door and ladder
I went to have a look at fire escapes at DJ Station disco, which can have hundreds of people inside on a busy night. DJ Station appears to have fire escapes on every floor, with a ladder for the highest door. There are two emergency lights on the wall. These are tilted towards the Rama 4 end of what I call “Soi Escape”. “Soi Escape” is at the back of DJ Station, between the disco and the former Robinson building.

I have brought back the “Recent comments” feature in the left margin of the blog. I had to remove it last year since it overburdened the server by frequent call-ups of the database (ignore this techno-speak if you are not interested)… But the chap who is making this plug-in said he has fixed this problem.
Sometimes readers made valuable comments to old post and with this feature those comments will be more visible.
