The good thing is that you will have a bolt hole in KL when the shit hits the fan here and there is blood running down the gutters in Silom. Won’t be long I think.
As for me well the job keeps me here until I am recalled or run screaming to the airport with a tank following the taxi.

51% Malaysia and 49% Thailand? Wow. Malaysia is a best country to live for those who have retired from work. Especially, in Penang. There’s lot of retired expats living over there. Well, Thailand is a best tourist destination. There’s hardly anything in Kota Bharu. Go to Penang or all the way down to KL instead. By the way, enjoy your trip.

you could keep two households in two different but interesting cities, the change of air every few months will do you good, and all parties will be benefit, but of course this will incur added expenses…just enjoy yourself.
