A PR agent for the gay movie No Regret wrote to ask if I would blog about the release of this movie in America. As the nice guy I am I said I would do that. Here is the info I got from the agent:

NO REGRETS Story: Set in Seoul, South Korea, “No Regret” centers on Sumin (Lee Young-Hoon), who leaves the orphanage where he grew up and heads to the city to study art design. After losing his job at a factory due to layoffs, he finds himself working as a prostitute in a gay bar. Initially Sumin resists the advances of Jaemin (Lee Han), who comes from a rich and conservative family that doesn’t accept his sexual identity. Eventually Sumin succumbs to Jaemin’s advances, after they briefly experience happiness as passionate lovers, Sumin and Jaemin’s relationship falls into heartache and tragedy.

I once went to the National Education University in Korea. A professor said that Korean Society was unlike the West. For example there were no Gays in Korea. I laughed so hard I thought I was going to burst, since I had been to Spartacus Gay Bar in Itewon the night before. I wondered if he had researched his thesis or bought it online.

NetFlicks has it listed but it is not available to rent yet. You can reserve it for when distribution starts.
