Speaking of Japanese “actors” and video stars, remember baseball player Kazuhito Tadan? He could not get work in Japan after his appearance in a male-male cultural production. He was hired in America by the Cleveland Indians, but had to repeatedly apologise for “his mistake in the past”.
What was there to apologise for? Was his acting THAT bad?

His acting was rather convincing, so that’s not the reason for the requested apologies, I’m sure.
