Pattaya pizza

I haven’t been to Pattaya for ages. The boys there must miss me. But I wonder about one establishment. This is a pizza restaurant in Sunee Plaza.

I forget the name of the place, but it has been a pizza restaurant for years. New owners took over earlier this year. These were a Thai girl who spoke native English and a farang bloke. The bloke sat at the innermost table with his back towards the restaurant, doing paperwork or something.

The Thai girl didn’t want to speak Thai with me. But she spoke Thai to the motorbike taxi boys in the soi, who seemed to take an interest in her.

I had a hanger-on when I came to the restaurant. This was one of the touts or over-the-hill moneyboys who hang around in the area. I had nothing to do with him, he was just following me around in the hope of getting money.

The Thai girl  looked at my hanger-on and told me they were closed.

Five minutes later I walked past the restaurant again, but alone. The Thai girl told me they were open.

I asked for a dish. The girl said it wasn’t on the menu. I showed here where on the menu it was. It took a while to get the food, as it seemed they had no staff. But once I got it the food was good.

I moved to a table that suited me better while the girl was in the kitchen. This made her ask “Are you all right?”. She asked me that question several times, while I ate and when I was about to leave. She said it in a tone where the meaning becomes ”What is wrong with you?” I assured her that I was fine.

How is this restaurant doing?

I know this resraurant very well because it have a good site on things going on there about diner time. The lady seems to have the customer a good time, thats why she ask all the time if everything is ok. So don’t take it to personal.

Ive heard the same but it doesn’t look like any real action is taking place on the sale.. I’m not sure if they have changed their minds or not.
