I can’t resist the temptation to post this Idaho Statesman account from “a 40-year old man with close ties to the Republican party”:
“Upon walking into Union Station one day, I made eye contact with a well-dressed older gentleman whom I recognized as Sen. Craig. We, after having made eye contact for 30 seconds or so, we began walking towards one of the restrooms in Union Station.
“I followed him in there. We went to the urinals, where we both unzipped …“The restroom became busy, too busy to do anything. So we zipped up and then followed each other to the second restroom in Union Station, where we began the same process. And had a — I also performed fe***io for a very, very short amount of time, as that restroom became busy as well. At that point we both zipped up and left and went on our separate ways.“Walking time included I would say maybe three minutes, four minutes. Not very long.
“It was unmistakable. I mean, I just recognized him, you know, as being Sen. Craig. I just didn’t have any doubt in my mind that that’s who it was. And when the encounter was over I proceeded to search on the internet and confirm that you know with a picture of him, and sure enough it was him.

This man is Gayer than a purse full of Rainbows. He just cannot accept it. He is also a HIPOCRIT, having voted against every Gay rights issue that has come his way. The Democrats might have the House, but the Republicans have the Bathrooms!

I guess not being American I really don’t care about senator Craig. Your trip to Phuket is far more interesting to me. If what you write is true it is interesting because my boyfriend often falls asleep on flights and needs far more sleep than I do when we travel. He told me recently he is looking forward to Eat Eat Eat and Sleep Sleep Sleep! What amazes me is that he never puts on any weight?

Senator Craig is specially invited to this blog to explain gay toilet stall cruising culture. Apart from that I had never heard of him.

K.J.,
I read Humphreys study many years ago and I was amazed at how much knowledge could be gained from it. Especially in light of all the closet gays in the Republican party here in the US.
Its like a recent study that showed that kids in the US are having less “sexual intercourse”
Yep, they are. But if you sit and get them to talk to you you find out that “oral intercourse” is not considered sexual. You also find out that the number of kids labeling themselves “bisexual” has grown dramatically.
With more “non sexual intercourse” options available then of course you can statistically prove less “sexual intercourse”
Its all a matter of how you define “sexual intercourse” and the researchers were using an old definition on a new generation!
In the US you have the older generation still giving hand signals in bathroom stalls and then you have the younger generation who are redefining the concept of “sex” and “sexual preference”
My favorite is that “you have not had sexual intercourse unless you orgasm” hmm…I don’t know if that is worth the effort….
