My interest in photography is back. Now I look through old digital files on the computer and bring them up to see them again in the full glory of the 24 inch screen.
Sony, my camera pimp, has announced a new full frame SLR with 24 million pixels, the Sony Alpha 900. 24mp? How can they do this to me? My current camera has only 10mp.
I try to keep an ironic distance to the obsessive gear talk in photo circles but sometimes I get overwhelmed by must-have desire. How can I afford this new wunder-Sony? Will they accept my kidneys as trade-in?
I have put Chalerm to work selling off old camera gear I don’t use anymore. Maybe that will bring in some cash.
Thanks to my iron self-discipline I haven’t bought a camera for nearly a year.

I am going to Malaysia again. My 30 days in the kingdom are over. I don’t think Chalerm likes my travel activity. He wants me to stay at home so he can feel safe and protected.
Tragically, I will miss the mayhem of Songkran. Thai kids will just have to find some other farang to harass with their water guns this year.

I should go to Farangland too. Time to visit my mum and see my docs and freeze my butt off in the so-called European summer.

Anything beyond 8-10Megapix is just going to increase the file size beyond manageable capacity…and I am sure you will go for a TByte disk soon…hahaha…but atleast you can zoom down to the tiniest of spots with greater clarity…helps in some photos…;-))
