By night
Yesteday I decided to go early to bed. Because I had made this decision I felt good and sat up till midnight watching The Simpsons, season five. Bart was made the heir of Mr. Burns’ vast, vast fortune. After this I used the Internet for a while.
1 am I was going to bed but was hungry. I thought about the 7-Eleven but didn’t feel like fast food.
1.30 am I would like something to read while eating. The 7-Eleven across from the Malaysia hotel sells The Economist. But when I arrived they only had Time and Newsweek.

I see the former manager of My Way bar in Bangkok is sitting outside on the street now. I heard he lost his job in the bar. He looks forlorn. Should I feel guilty?

I was on my way to the S&P Restaurant on Silom road, the one near Burger King and DJ Station at soi 2. Two massage boys stood on the pavement by the opening to soi 2, handing out leaflets. One of them tried to give a leaflet to me. I ignored him.
