Visa runners
My deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to former prime minister of Thailand Mr. Thaksin and his wife Pojaman. The British have canceled their visa and the couple are cut off from their home and their Rolls Royce in London.

No have
Baiting foreigners, allowing them to buy property and settle down in the country and then not giving them a proper visa is something Thailand would NEVER do.
Please be advised that putting a 100 baht bill inside the passport before giving it to the immigration officer at Heathrow is not going to work.

Can not

Thaksin, the former strongman and deposed prime minister of Thailand, had trouble getting entry to Britain today.
Thaksin was arriving from China when immigration officers at Heathrow questioned his papers.
- What do they mean 90 days in six months rule? asked an annoyed Thaksin as media representatives surrounded him.
- They are only doing this to harass me, said Thaksin after officials explained he could only get a seven day stamp due to his earlier frequent visits to the country.
Immigration officials declined to comment Thaksin’s case but said that in general Thai citizens should go to Hamburg for visa runs.
