Farang D’s Thai boy manager has paid their web design debts in full. He put the money in Chalerm’s bank account. I sent a text message to Farang D to thank him but I have not received any response. Farang D used to send me up to a dozen text messages a day but after I asked for payment before doing any more work he fell silent. I guess I am off his list.

I love the way you fight to keep your customers.
Why don’t u invite him for dinner, find out what the problem is.. My guess is that he doesn’t like to be a story in your blog where he more or less is presented as farang kit nio

I wouldn’t lose any sleep if Farang D doesn’t call. He thought that since you were a friend of his, he didn’t have to treat you the same as any other contractor. Your perseverance was admirable. Now it’s time to move on.

I’m in the “building bridges” camp.
The relationship was good for both of you (and Chalerm too) so IMHO it’s worth some effort to repair any damage there might be.
Now that you have established the rules of the game more clearly, it might be an even better relationship in the future if you can get communication going again.
