Thai boy chasing

thailand-buffalo-race.jpg

Thai boys chase me. I have this waiter in a restaurant in the soi. Last weekend he was outside the 7-Eleven at night when I said hello to him. He was lighting a cigarette from the burning cloal in a street vendor’s cart. He asked where I was going and I said “out for fun”.

Every day since then he has asked me if I am going “out for fun”. I have said no. Today he asked if I had a boyfriend. I said yes, the bf was at home. The waiter looked disappointed.

But I don’t feel too sorry for him. He is firting with another waiter. I have seen them in the soi. Both are gay.

Nothing more has happened to my old Mac, which is in the repair shop. “We will call you tomorrow” has now lasted one month.

Maybe I expect too much of them when I say they should test it. Maybe I should just tell them to fix the power supply and hope that was the only problem. They wanted 4500 baht for that job.

Chalerm wants to use the old Mac. It is a good computer, just a bit out of date.

Asian teenage girls leave comments in this blog about Taiwan pop singer Aaron Yan. They say I insult him by asking if he is gay. You got that wrong, girls. To be gay is an honour.

American teenage girls have discovered my collection of shirtless skateboarder Ryan Sheckler pics. I haven’t flattered Ryan by saying he is gay, so maybe the blog will be left in peace.

  1. Steve Jobs Says:

Not sure which Mac you have, but Apple (gosh, that’s us !) provide instructions on DIY power supply replacement, for example:

I agree with Steve Jobs. I would be re-acquiring the old Mac and doing a DIY PSU replacement. All you will need is a Phillips/’star’ screw driver. It ain’t ‘rocket science’, as someone once said.

BTW, B4,500 seems to be the ‘market price’ for a PSU replacement. Same thing happened to my partner last week and that is what it cost him (me?) at Pantip. Given that a PSU should cost about B600 or so, the balance represents a pretty big ‘labour’ mark-up.
