I met khun B on the pavement outside DJ Station. He came up and hugged me. He wore makeup and had spent at least an hour getting his hair messed up and spikey.
Khun B spoke to me in Thai. But when he called me on the phone a few days ago, insisting that he wanted to meet me, he had only spoken English. This means he doesn’t know that I am the person he spoke to on the phone. It suits me well. I don’t enjoy telling them to get lost.
Khun B probably had a long list of farangs to call. How can he remember them all?
While khun B will ask the English-speaking version of me for money he doesn’t do that to my Thai-speaking identity when he sees me on the street.
Khun B had khun C with him. Khun C was drunk and this made him look less cute than he was worth. The two boys went to DJ Station. I wished them good luck.

Hi i’m English, thanks for the blog, a great read. I was thinking about making a last minute trip to Thailand in March, and i’ve only been in Dec and Jan before, whats the weather like? I’m worried it will be too hot and humid and spoil things a bit. Thanks

“I don’t enjoy telling them to get lost.” Then why do you give out your phone number?

Hi David. March is hot and dry. Stay indoors in the afternoon heat and you will be fine.
Trongpai: I had promised him prints of the photos I took of him.
