A new boy sat in the living room last night, watching Korean soap operas with Chalerm and the Prince of Khon Kaen.
What a stunning young thing the new boy was. Chalerm hasn’t brought home anything like this for ages.
I said hello to the new boy, and he said hello to me. Then I went out to the 7-Eleven.
The new boy lives in our neighbourhood. Chalerm has known him for a while but only invited him in on impluse when he ran into him in our soi. He is a Thammasat student. Did I mention that he is gorgeous?
Chalerm misunderstood my questions about Thammasat Boy. He thought I was annoyed because he brought home yet another house guest, but I didn’t mind at all.
I have manners. Thammasat Boy sat alone in a sofa when I returned from the 7-Eleven but I didn’t join him. I didn’t stare either, or flirt, or grab him to carry him to the bedroom. Still, Thammasat Boy’s smile meant that he understood I admired him. I don’t know what gave me away. Maybe the drooling.
Yes, I have manners. I will not chase him. He is Chalerm’s friend. I just hope he doesn’t visit us often as this looking-but-no-touching is torture.
Why do I care? Would Thammasat Boy be interested in me?
Of course. They are all interested in me. My dazzling looks and charming personality makes me irresistable to Thai boys. I have to beat them away with sticks.
The only other boy with similar looks who has visited us was Chiang Rai Boy. He stayed with us for a few weeks while he developed his moneyboy career. Then he found a job dancing in his underpants in a bar.
I saw Chiang Rai Boy yesterday. He was loitering outside Burger King, or should I say soliciting. It must be three years since he stayed with us but he is still a looker.
Maybe I should have brought Chiang Rai Boy home to meet Thammasat Boy. How much beauty can a man take?

Why not just do it with these guys, SF? In the US, if they’re offered up as Chalerm seems to be offering them to you, we’d accept and wipe away the cream…lol

Chalerm will buy you blinders so you can only see your new Mac screen just as soon as he gets his degree!

The neighbourhood must think you’re up to something with all these visitors.
Maybe they think you’re running a finishing school for Thai boys, to save their parents the expense of sending them to Switzerland.
But more likely they think you’ve been ordering ‘take out’ from the local boy emporium.
You might as well get something out of all this. I would suggest a ‘while-you-wait’ laundry service, with an opening special on underwear .. that is, the underwear they’re wearing.

Just when you were contemplating leaving Thailand, life there improves by degrees: new eye lid, new computer, new candy. Many candles must be lit at the temple in thanks.

SF… next time he is near you or whatever “accidentally” drop a large drink all over those clothes he is wearing and darn.. you just need to wash them! have to take them off fast otherwise the stain will set!!!
and heaven knows you can’t allow that to happen in your house!
