So PM Somchai has declared a state of emergency at the airports in Bangkok. Will that lead to anything?
Does Somchai have enough authority left to clear the airports by force? The commanders will want to know which way the wind blows as they are afraid of getting blamed for any bloodshed if they are on the losing side.

The Nation quotes the head of the Airporth Authority of Thailand as saying Suv Airport will open again on the 29th of November at 6pm. How can he know that?
I think I will just stay in Malaysia a while longer.

You can get into Thailand “easily.” Fly to Singapore and take Silk Air to (for example) Chiang Mai. Their flights do NOT stop in Bangkok. Then take a bus or the overnight train (with sleeper) to Bangkok. Or stay in Chiang Mai and enjoy it. They say the government’s here, too! :-0

LEADING BOYOLOGIST STRANDED: WORRIED ABOUT BOYS IN THAILAND
The recent civil unrest in Thailand has stranded leading boyolgist Dr Silom Farang in Malaysia, leaving him unable to study the effects of the situation on this sometimes fragile species.
“I am both furious and very worried”, Farang exclaimed with animated arm movements. “I have no idea how this is affecting the boys in Bangkok. I know they are a very resiliant species but I am always so worried about whether they will be ok.”
Our Bangkok corrospondant ventured daintily into their habitat to interview some of Farang’s subjects. “I hungry, I no money”, said one.
“I want Farang, him come back. He lich. He help me.”, said another.
“I hope he come back. He can study me. I let him study me everywhere”, said another. “I also like study him. Him han-sam man”, the boy gushed.
We streamed these interviews to Farang in Malaysia, “Oh dear. I am worried sick”, he exclaimed. “You know the only way to study the effects of this crisis is to really get hands on and study every inch of their bodies. I just can’t do that if I am in another country can I?”
The crisis continues.
