Thailand’s progress

In safe hands

Authorities want to build nuclear power plants outside Bangkok.
These completely safe and accident-free plants will be operated by Cambodian monkeys trained to push green and red buttons. It is generally known that Cambodian monkeys are smarter than Thai monkeys.

Taking a break from the civil war in the south and inspecting toilets in Internet cafes, the Thai government has launched a crackdown on school children’s hairdos. The future of the country is at stake.

It is not true that Thailand suddenly is on the brink of violent street protests and another military coup. Thailand is always on the brink of violent street protests and another military coup.

A Thai newspaper gossip page, translated by BKKDreamer, wrote that Thaksin’s son is using his mother’s makeup. This is not correct. Thaksin’s son can afford his own makeup.

In a developing crisis, Burger King on Silom road is using smoked ham instead of bacon in the Double Whoppers. This is a step up from using raw pork but ungrateful burger addicts, who have not yet learned to eat whatever is on their plates, say it tastes funny.

Robinson department store on Silom will close later this month. What will happen to the Robinson moneyboys? They will need a new name. Luckily the new establishment will be just as gay. It is a fitness centre.

The sign at the door to Robinson today, sale 90%. The place was packed. Constant loud speaker, 20, 30, 40, 50 % this and that. Funny, to mark down an item 50% they went in the night before and increased the original price 50%. Much of the clothing was not the usual clothing that they sell, junk in big bins where all the good stuff used to be. The whole first floor cosmetics and smelly waters section was converted to cheap ladies under garments in boxes.
