A similar toilet in the UK might be a bad idea as it would draw attention to transsexuals, and it sort of says that you’re not a real woman. Most transsexuals would rather go unnoticed, and what about a toilet for female to male transsexuals, they exist too you know.

I’m going to send this to all my friends in the U.K who haven’t been to Thailand, I have tried to explain ladyboys to them, without success! They think ladyboy are just gay’s dressing in girls clothes
I have told them you can spot a ladyboy at 7 & 8 years old so different to gay i think, are they? sure they are! I not so sure now, are you? now i’m confused!!!!!!!!!

I sent an immediate email to the Principal of my ex high school in melbourne demanding that such a toilet block be constructed….it was hell being gay in an all boys school in the 60s.

Really… Only if there’s a much bigger, more interesting story do Western reporters go halfway around the globe to report on an ‘oddity’ such as a third-gender toilet…
