The seasons

Farang D remains incommunicado, but I hear from my spies that he and the Thai boy manager are in Europe for holiday.

Since I am not fired I assume I still am Farang D’s webmaster and I keep an eye on their business site. I can see the high season coming on their site. September is the lowest of the low season, but people in Farangland are planning their Thailand holidays.

The last week Farang D received an average of 25 customers per day from the site, or a 9% conversion rate. This is up from 15 customers per day and a 5% conversion rate two months ago. (Conversion rate means what percent of people who visit a web site actually buy something.)

I wonder how high the numbers will go in November and December. Maybe Farang D will reach his goal of getting half his turnover from the Internet, bypassing troublesome local agents and resellers.

I am sorry but I can’t give you the site due to the gay thing. They are not an openly gay business (despite half the staff being gay). :)

    Idea.
How about sending him an email in anticipation of his return, suggesting some further enhancements to prompt him to call and get communication (and your income) going again?

  6. Silom Farang Says:

Thank you Iwan, I will consider that…
