Thailand have flood little bit
According to the newspapers the flood water from the north will reach Bangkok next week. The authorities will protect “areas of economic importance”. This means the safest place to be is Patpong.

Hehe, Patpong. I’m going there tonight actually!
The floods are pretty serious though. I was just in Cambodia and the road into Siem Reap from the border was HORRIBLE. We ended up getting out of the bus and walking through thigh deep water for about 300m a couple times. Brutal. Also down near Pattaya a couple weeks ago we drove through some nasty flooded areas. Koh Chang was flooding even… sucks to be Thailand this year.

Thanks for the report. I was only half joking when saying Patpong is safe - they DO divert water away from the Silom area.
