Monday evening I dared go to Silom Complex for the first time since Songkran began.
The pavement outside was white with powder from the mayhem the last few days. I can only imagine how it must have been Sunday night at the hight of the “fun”. But it was over for this year and nobody threw water at me.
A zipper plastic camera bag is a good idea. Where do they sell those?
Since I didn’t have camera protection I have no photos to show you of the water sports. But rest assured that it was intense.
Chalerm had Songkran off and was out in the Silom area every day. But he is young. Let him enjoy the games. He will be bored with it soon enough, like I am. And I am just 29. And a half.
Chalerm’s mood has improved steadily since his grandmother’s funeral. Today he was playful, rolling around in bed and then insisting I should hold a pillow so he could practice Thai boxing on it. “I am man”, said Chalerm, who usually talks about himself in female terms. He did a few punches and then kicked the pillow across the room. That was un-ladyish for sure.
At Silom Complex I noticed a number of gay boys, probably of the sort who was for rent. Was business suffering during Songkran? They seemed eager.

Is it safe? Hehehe. Sounds like the line from “Marathon Man.” Yes, I came out from underneath the bed about an hour ago.

I like to be under the bed. I have long rewarding conversations with the dust bunnies.

You ought to be careful with Chalerm. Sounds as though he’s turning butch. Next will be a large moustache and leather trousers with no arse!
